All MITI employees have the option of choosing CaliforniaChoice's PPO, HMO, and HSA plans. There are over 25 different health plans to choose from providing the ultimate in flexibility from popular names like Kaiser Permanente, Blue Shield of California, and This ensures that all employees can decide which health plan is the best for themselves and their family.
When you enroll in any medical plan, you and your eligible enrolled dependents are also eligible for coverage under the dental plan. MITI offers Delta Dental ' s original managed fee-for-service plan called: DeltaPremier , offering freedom to choose any licensed dentist, anywhere in the world !
MITI uses the Charles Schwab's Simple IRA plan. The plan offers a pre-tax savings opportunity. Eligibility is effective on your date of hire. For example in 2008, the IRS allows any employee under age 50 to save up to $10,500 of gross earnings (pre-tax) per year. MITI will match your contribution based on 3% of your annual salary up to the Simple IRA Salary Deferral Limits defined by the IRS which is $10,500 for employees under age 50 in 2005.
MITI employees will receive 13 paid holidays per year. This includes 6 fixed holidays, 4 company designated days, and 3 personal choice days.
MITI's vacation plan is based on length of service:
1-3 years/15 days per year (i.e. 3 weeks)
3-6 years/20 days per year (i.e. 4 weeks)
7+ years/25 days per year (i.e. 5 weeks)
MITI pays for sick time for up to 10 days per year. This time may be neither accrued, nor converted.
MITI uses ADP for payroll with direct deposit to your bank account. MITI's paydays are the 15th and the last day of the month. If the payday falls on a weekend, you will be paid on the Friday before.
All employees can participate in our stock option plan. MITI has set aside stock specifically for employee grants. Vesting is over a four year period.
MITI's employee referral program will pay you a cash bonus award when we hire a new regular MITI employee you referred. The bonus is paid after the new employee has successfully completed 90 days of employment.
