Web 2.0 GUI Senior Software Engineer

Job Description:
- Design and implement Meta Integration® Repository (MIR)'s Business User Interface (Web Application Server)
- Interact with customers and partners to capture GUI business requirements
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of industry experience developing complex software components
- Expert knowledge of OO JavaScript/HTML and Java based web application development
- Development experience with CSS, Struts, Ant, Tomcat and JavaScript toolkits, like Dojo, EXT, YUI is highly desirable
- Highly motivated, energetic engineer, strong team player with good communication skills
- BS (preferably MS) in Computer Science or related fields

Metadata Senior Software Engineer
|
Job Description:
- Design and implement metadata integration and software infrastructure components in Meta Integration® Model Bridge (MIMB) application and Meta Integration® Repository (MIR) server
- Analyze major commercial data integration products (ETL, EAI, EII and BI) in order to map and integrate their meta model in the MIR
- Help to design a scalable solution to integrate and analyze metadata from different applications in the enterprise
- Spearhead development of MIMB bridges focused on data transformation technologies
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of industry experience in developing complex software components
- Expert knowledge of C++ and proficiency in Java and XML
- Good knowledge of RDBMS, data modeling and SQL programming is must
- Good understanding of metadata SDKs of major ETL and BI tools,
like Informatica PowerCenter, IBM Ascential DataStage, Oracle OWB, Microsoft OLAP/DTS; Cognos, Microstrategy and BusinessObjects BI solutions
- Metadata modeling skills, UML and familiarity with standards like OMG CWM
- Experience with expression parsing and compiler technologies, Lex and Yacc
- Highly motivated, energetic engineer, strong team player with good communication skills
- BS (preferably MS) in Computer Science or related fields

Job Description:
- Design, implement and test metadata integration and software infrastructure components in Meta Integration® Model Bridge (MIMB) application
- Work with major commercial data integration products (ETL, EAI, EII and BI) to ensure their metadata interoperability via MIMB
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of industry experience in developing software components

- Good knowledge of RDBMS, data modeling and SQL programming is must
- Familiarity with metadata SDKs of major Data Modeling, ETL and BI tools,
like CA ERwin, Sybase PowerDesigner, IBM Rational Rose; Informatica PowerCenter, IBM Ascential DataStage, Oracle OWB, Microsoft OLAP/DTS; Cognos, Microstrategy and BusinessObjects BI solutions
- Eager to learn, energetic engineer, strong team player with good communication skills
- BS (preferably MS) in Computer Science or related fields
