The OMG provides a standard called XMI for XML based Metadata Intechange. XMI can be used to carry UML based object modeling metadata, as well as CWM based Data Warehousing related metadata. See diagram below for more details:
It is important to know that these tables are expressed from the MIMB "import from" and "export to" bridge perspective, which is different than the source and destination tool perspective, therefore make sure you understand the diagram below, before reading these tables.
Finally, the following grahical conventions are used to expressed the actual tool support:
