Version Management

To Modify a version or add formats to a version, you select the version and right click to have the menu with the following items:

If you click on a version you may do the following:

• Add - you may add a model format, a new file format, or a mapping format,
• Set as Default - this will make this version the default version of the product,
• Cut - allows you to copy the version to the clipboard. The version is moved to a new location when a Paste is performed,
• Copy - allows you to copy the version to the clipboard,
• Paste - allows you to copy an object from the clipboard to the version,
• Paste Link - allows you to create a references/referenced by link between an object (product or version) from the clipboard to the version. You can also create predecessor/successor links between two version,
• Delete - deletes the version and all the sub objects attached to the version,
• Rename - allows you to change the name of the version, and
• Permissions - allows you to change the access control list to this version.
