Model Mapper
Once you have created all of the mapping information you may
save this information in the database. Note that this will in fact save a new version
of the model mapping (deleting the previous mapping in the database),
and might then take some time for big mappings.
To save a Model Mapping, select Save in the Model Mapper main menu.
You can also save the model mapping in a new Version
of the Mapping Format. This will create a new Version object and a Mapping Format and
link the source and destination Model Formats to the new Mapping Format before
to save the mapping information in the database.
To save a Model Mapping in a new Version:
- select Save As... in the Model Mapper main menu,
- enter the name of the new version, and
- click on OK.
If a Version with the same name already exists, the Model Mapper will display a warning
in the model Mapper log window and create a new Version with a unique name
based on the name you gave.
