Open Report in Microsoft Power BI

First the Administrator must setup the Power BI Server URL and Enable it in the Open in Tool tab of the Power BI model within **Manage

Repository or Manage > Configuration**:

Then Users have access to Open In Tool at various locations such as:

which opens that workbook report in the Power BI server as follows:

You can then go to the Power BI report

You may also use the Related Reports tabon the details page of an object.

Example

Search for "Customer" and select the table in Staging DW named Customer.

You are presented with the Overview tab.

Go to the Related Reports tab.

The Open option is presented for each report end point and clicking there presents the report in the third-party tool.
